OBTAINING CITIZENSHIP AND NEVIS THROUGH INVESTING IN REAL ESTATE:
Applicants can apply for citizenship by investing in a pre-approved real estate project, which may include shares in hotels, villas and condominiums. The minimum real estate investment required by law is $ 200 (resale after 000 years) or $ 7 (resale after 400 years) for each main applicant.
Non-refundable due diligence and processing fees must also be paid upon application. These fees are $ 7500 for the main applicant and $ 4000 for each dependent of the main applicant who is 16 years of age or older.
Upon approval in principle of an application filed through a real estate investment, a state fee is charged in the following amount:
Main applicant: USD 35
Spouse of main applicant: USD 20
Any other qualified dependent of the main applicant, regardless of age: USD 10
Apart from these fees, property buyers need to be aware of the purchase costs (mainly compulsory insurance premiums and official fees)
60 DAYS ACCELERATED ST. KITS AND NEVIS CITIZENSHIP PROCESS:
The Accelerated Application Process (AAP), approved by the government of Saint Kitts and Nevis in October 2016, allows for an accelerated processing of applications for the Citizenship by Investment Program by up to 60 days.
Interested individuals applying using the AAP will still be required to meet all prerequisite criteria and provide the required supporting documents to apply for citizenship by investment.
Applications will go through expedited processing at Citizenship by Investment, due diligence providers and the Saint Kitts and Nevis passport office. As a bonus, this process also includes the application and processing of a Saint Christopher (Saint Kitts) and Nevis passport.
By submitting an application using the AAP, you can see that the application will be completed within 60 days, and some applications will be completed in 45 days.
AAP process fees (including due diligence fees)
Main applicant: USD 25
Dependent over 16: US $ 20
In addition to the US $ 25 and US $ 000 AAP processing fees, there will be an additional US $ 20 per person for all dependents under the age of 000 for the Saint Kitts and Nevis passport.
